A small group of orthodontists from Italy, Argentina and Colombia came together to share research experiences applied to Orthodontic clinics.

Coordinated by Professor Mauro Ferri, Director at Fundacion ARDEC Colombia, based in Cartagena de Indias, and Dr Nicola Zanta, International Sales & Marketing Manager at Leader Medica Italia, the team of professionals carried out research activities to validate the clinical protocols which will be used routinely in orthodontics. The group was composed of Dr Guillermo Benedetto, Dr Stefano Miani, Dr Mauro Matera, Dr Mauro Martini, Dr Roxana Martinez, Dr Arleth Paola Mejia Atencia, Dr Jennifer Orozco Paez and Dr Winne Rodriguez.

On Thursday 7 March, Dr Guillermo Benedetto held a seminar at Rafael Nunez University in Cartagena, where students and professors were presented with the themes to be studied over six days of work.

The beautiful Caribbean setting of Cartagena completed this event, which will be held yearly and will see the number of participants increase in the future, with orthodontists from different continents joining the original team, with the objective to share the clinical experiences of professionals with different needs and backgrounds.

The next meeting will be held in September, always in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
